🏁 THE TOP 10 COUNTDOWN

#10: TRAVELING BETWEEN DIFFERENT STATES (Episode 25) — 2,861 views

“Keep one Transponder in your car, don’t double up. Update your address at the DMV, bills go to the last listed one. Always check for toll charges after trips especially with rentals or borrowed vehicles, .And use toll road avoidance settings if you’re not prepared to pay. “

#9: DOES THE SPEED LIMIT APPLY TO THE FAST LANE? (Episode 30) — 3,094 views

This creates what traffic engineers cause turbulence , disrupted patterns that reduce the road’s overall capacity, Now on a typical 4 lane highway, proper lane discipline can increase  throughput by 15-20%.. But even when multiple drivers park themselves in the left lane, you get what we call rolling roadblocks,. Clusters of vehicles moving the same speed across all lanes with no way for traffic to flow around them

#9 tie : LEFT LANE CAMPER? HIGHWAY LANES AREN'T RANDOM (Episode 30) — 3,118 views

https://youtube.com/shorts/1wA3XvWgEP8

Think of lanes as having specific purposes.. The left  lane is for active passing only, you move into it..complete your pass then out of it. Always be aware of your lane position relative to traffic flow. If you’re int he left lane and someone approaches from behind, even if they’re going faster than you think they should, move over when it’s safe.

This simple habit can eliminate 90% of left lane conflict.

#8: ROUNDABOUTS VS. STOP LIGHTS (Episode 29) — 3,173 views.

#7: WHY CRUISE CONTROL IS THE SMARTEST TOOL IN YOUR CAR (Episode 12) — 3,662 views

https://youtube.com/shorts/L9eSPq177sQ

Every time I get behind the wheel I turn on cruise control.. why? Because it sae ms fuel, frustration and foot fatigue. Smooth steady speeds reduce the phantom jams we talked about in Episode 2. Fluctuating speeds burn more fuel. Cruise control keeps it steady.

#6: STOP PLAYING TRAFFIC POLICE (Episode 30) — 4,033 views

https://youtube.com/shorts/lG4Vq_zmzHI

It’s not your job to control speed.. Blocking left lane drivers often leads to dangerous situations.

#5: THE PERFECT ZIPPER MERGE (Episode 9) — 4,282 views

https://youtube.com/shorts/C4ePEKOm2mY

No one feels the need to police the merge because everyone knows it’s the most efficient way to keep traffic moving .. Studies zipper merge can reduce congestion by up to 40% in heavy traffic. In theory this makes perfect sense.

#4: UNDERSTANDING LANE DISCIPLINE (Episode 6) — 5,095 views

https://youtube.com/shorts/VUKlP7vCYa4

Choosing the correct lane isn’t just about speed - it’s about effieicney, safety and understanding how traffic actually flows.. and the reality its most people are in the wrong lna more often than they think.

#3: THE PHYSICS OF TRAFFIC WAVES (Episode 2) — 6,410 views

https://youtube.com/shorts/pyE_8JhRDyc

“Traffic moves in waves… But most drivers don’t think about that when they blame on the brakes or hit the gas… today we’ll break down what’s happening on the road beyond just your car, because once you start seeing the bigger picture, you’ll realise how much control you actually have over your own commute.…”

#2 - 6400  (Episode 9)

The Zipper Merge Explained

https://youtube.com/shorts/F8jD96ROwxA

In a perfect world, here’s what would happen Two lanes merge into one and every driver takes turns, like a. Zipper colosing smooth.y . Both lanes are used to full capacity preventing early backups, No one feels the need to police the merge because everyone knows it’s the most efficient way to keep traffic moving.

#1: THE PASSING LANE: FAST LANE AND SPEED LIMIT (Episode 30) — 267,007 views

https://youtube.com/shorts/k8GlvZivFws

The left lane isn’t called the FAST lane in traffic engineering - it’s the passing lane. And that discinttion matters more than you might think. In most states, the law is crystal clear - Keep right except to pass. Just one slow moving vehicle in the left lane can create a ripple effect that slows traffic for miles.
